"A flagship project for diversity and community living: On the site of the former Ankerbrot factory, where bread was still being baked until the turn of the millennium, a new residential neighborhood has emerged: the Quartier Bienvenue. It comprises several residential buildings with subsidized apartments, commercial spaces, and communal areas, as well as the “Heimvorteil Ankerbrot(fabrik)” residence, which offers affordable housing for young people between the ages of 18 and 30.”
